Gate Theatre

A venue dating all the way back to 1928, the Gate theatre is a well-known and established venue in Dublin City. The theatre is host to a range of performances including dance, art, film and theatre productions. It is the closest theatre to the Belvedere Hotel. Distance from Hotel: 3-minute walk

3 Arena

The 3Arena is Dublin’s best loved concert venue, located in North Wall in Dublin’s Docklands. Built on the site of the former Point Theatre, it’s 14,000 capacity makes it the largest indoor arena in Ireland. A stunning, state-of-the-art entertainment venue, it has played host to all the greats hosting on average 150 events each year. Getting There: The LUAS RED LINE leaves you at 3Arena’s doorstep. The red line operates from Abbey Street, a 10-minute walk from The Belvedere Hotel. There are extra trams on show nights to cater for the large numbers that use the service on their journey home. Alternatively take a 10-minute taxi ride to the venue which will cost approximately €12.

Croke Park

The Belvedere Hotel is located just minutes’ walk from Croke Park stadium. Croke Park is home to Irelands national sports, Gaelic football and hurling. Olympia Theatre

The Olympia Theatre is located on Dame Street in Dublin City Centre. Build in the 1800’s the Olympia has gone through some major renovations but it is a welcomed home to opera, theatre, ballet, comedy, music, dance and musicals. Distance from Hotel: 10-minute taxi ride/bus, 20-minute walk

Abbey Theatre

The Abbey theatre is steeped in Irish history initially founded by the famous Irish poet WB. Yeats and has a long-standing reputation for some of the most successful plays in Ireland. Bord Gais Energy Theatre

The Bord Gáis Theatre is a state of the art theatre, situated in the heart of Dublin. The theatre can seat over 2,000 people and is a fantastic addition to the art and cultural heritage of Dublin City. It is our largest theatre and is designed to present theatrical productions that were previously impossible to host effectively here in Ireland. Distance from Hotel: 10 min taxi, 20 mins public transport, 30 min walk.

The Academy

The National Concert Hall

If you want to attend Opera or live jazz music, Dublin’s National Concert Hall is the place to go.
